The other day we got Abigail a toy made to fill with treats and have her figure out how to dig them out. We fill hers with peanut butter because it's hilarious to watch her dig it out. I'm sure people on YouTube think I'm an idiot posting videos of her licking peanut butter out of a toy. Oh well.

every teardrop is a waterfall
Day 11 on the count is a song from my favorite band. My favorite band being Coldplay, I thought it appropriate to post their newest single that just came out this week called "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall." I can't wait for a new Coldplay album!
"I feel my heart start beating to my favourite song"

lullaby
Not surprisingly, the song I chose for day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep, I chose Lullaby by Josh Groban. I looove Josh Groban. His voice is amazing.
"and all love through darkness, don't you ever stop believing"

raise your glass
Day 9 is a song you can dance to. It's known by many that I don't like to dance, but there are a few songs that at least get me in the mood to dance. I will dance to them in the car by myself, too. The song I picked for this game is "Raise Your Glass" by P!nk. It's hard to not dance to this song!
"raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways"

tearin' up my heart
In continuation of this song business, day 8 is a song I know all the words to. Naturally I chose an 'N Sync song. :) Tearin' Up My Heart has to be the most traditional one. I do know every single word and have known them since I was 10.
I also find it important to say here that Justin Timberlake was the one who first held the keys to my heart.
"no matter what I do, I feel the pain, with or without you"

back home again in indiana
30 Day Song Challenge again. :) I'm doing my best here. Day 7 is a song that reminds you of an event. One of my favorite memories is going to the Indianapolis 500 with Nick and his family. No song helps me remember that trip more fondly than "Back Home Again In Indiana" performed by Jim Nabors. He sings it every year at the 500, and it only adds to the wonderful traditions of the race and the track. I can't wait to go to the 500 again and hopefully hear that song once more. :)
This particular video is from the year that I was able to go. It was 2009, the first in the three years of the centennial celebration.
"then I long for my Indiana home sweet home"

savannah
Gahh, definitely not good at keeping up with this one every day. I will try to catch up today.
Day 6 is a Song that Reminds you of Somewhere. I am using Savannah by Relient K. Seriously that song is Savannah, Georgia, to me. You have to listen to it, and you have to go there. It's one of my favorite songs for one of my favorite cities.
This video has the "Oasis" intro and "Baby" outro added.
"i hope to be there by the morning, and see this pining all transform into the arms of the Georgia sun"
